For the past month or so Alexander has been waking around 2am or so and is up for a few hours until he falls asleep. I have no idea what is going on, but I am going nuts and am totally exhausted. For those couple of hours he is up, he talks and bounces in his crib. (To fall asleep he bounces in his crib. I think this stems from the Exersaucer.) Any advice / suggestions to get him to sleep through the night again?

I haven't yet hit that stage but my first thought was, is he still taking a nap during the day? Could he be sleeping too much causing nighttime sleep disturbances?

I would turn on a fan in your room and ignore it, I don't think there is much you can do to MAKE a kid sleep unfortnately.

Trust me, the exersauser did not turn him into a bouncer. Never had one and both my girls treat their beds like a trampoline on a regular basis.

If you have a night light, get rid of it. My kids sleep so much better with out it and when it is dark they get the point to sleep more if they happen to wake up. Is he hot, cold from the A/C?

    Just a few thoughts~~~~~sending you sleep vibes~~~~~~

We have gone through this on and off. Waking up early in the morning. I would say is the room hot or cold or is he getting his molars in.

My girls have are 2.5 and we have been getting our two year molars the last 3 months or so. When Emily's teeth come in they don't seem to bother her as much as Samantha, she'll just sit and play and read books.

    Good Luck.
