Can some one tell me when their babies started sleeping through the night?

Mine started sleeping through occasionally at about 2.5 to 3 months. Now at 4.5 months they are pretty good at sleeping for around 10 to 12 hours a night.

The oldest twin (who loves his thumb)started sleeping through the night right on Christmas Eve. That was my Christmas present from him [IMG] The youngest twin (who loves his paci) gets up once. He is having spit up problems so I am wondering if that has anything to do with it. They weigh 10 lbs. 10 oz. and 10 lbs. 8 oz.

My dr. said that for the most part, all babies should be sleeping through the night by 4 months of age. Mine are 9 weeks old.

um. not yet (8 months). in fact their sleep's been getting worse since 6 months. [IMG].

i breastfeed, don't do CIO (not a policy, just a wimp), don't let them fuss, never was able to get them to lie down 'awake but drowsy' (reflux and wimpy parenting), rush in at their first whimper ... ie do everything wrong. and now pay for it with their waking 3 times each per night. At 10.5 weeks they started sleeping from about 10p to 6a with no waking at all. They had actually stopped getting a bottle for about two weeks prior, but were still waking once during the night (3a for Morgan and 4a for Jonah). Eventually, I had to let them cry to break the "Mommy I need my binky" habit. It only took a few days and only 10-20 minutes of crying (which lessened each night).

4 months here. We used the miracle blankets and they were just that, a miracle. Now at almost 8 months they have regressed a little due to teething.

My twins both slept through the night for 12 hrs. without waking the day they turned 10 weeks old, and they have every night since with the exception of being sick twice. You can train them to do this (I did) if you want. There are many different philosophies and books out there. I used 12 Hours' Sleep by 12 Weeks, by Suzy Giordano. I highly recommend it. [IMG]

I never did CIO and ran in at every wimper for fear of the one waking the other. I wish I would have separated them eariler. Both of mine had/have reflux, so usually there was one or two spit up changes in the middle of the night. I separated them and they slept through the night at 7.5 months. Then they started teething on top so 2 weeks of up all night with both of them now back on track.
