I've been looking online because I want to buy a sleep wedge to help my babies sleep better due to their mild reflux. Right now they are sleeping in their bouncies - but I would like to transition them to the crib soon. I've looked at positioners with wedges and just the wedge itself and can't decide which one or ones to buy for them since it seems like all of them have gotten some bad reviews. I'd really like to get something to hold the girls in place since they roll around a lot when they sleep flat.

Any suggestion on what to buy or what not to buy will help a lot.

    Thanks!

i would use the wedges..my kids moved around alot and they still do lol. i tried the wedges that go on each side and i would fine they moved down in them to what was supposed to be on their sides. I had them in the bed with me and i used the snuggle nest which comes with an incline and i put that in the crib. also it helped when they were in the bed with me.

I had the incline things that came with velcro wedges that you could put on the sides of the incline. When they outgrew the incline, I used the wedges in their cribs (the velcro held in place on the sheets - I was surprised). FWIW, the sheets were the really soft jersey kind.

I had a wedge under the mattress for the reflux.

I had this problem as well. I combated it by putting them so their little feet were against the bumpers and they had nowhere to go!

I used the wedge designed specifically for reflux called the Tucker Wedge/Sling. You can find them at www.tuckerwedge.com. They were wonderful and kept the girls at the proper angle without any moving around. Now that they're over the worst of the reflux, we use the wedges for climbing.

I haven't submitted the paperwork, but apparently a lot of insurance companies will pay for the wedges and slings if your kids are diagnosed with reflux.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the info on the tucker sling - that looks perfect! Did you have both babies in the same crib when you used it?
