I am almost 35 weeks, and am suffering from severe insomnia. Actually it's more that I cant get comfortable then anything else. Anyone have any suggestions? It's been almost 2 weeks since I have slept more then 2-3 hrs a night. I can't even nap I am so uncomfortable.

Tylenol PM  Its what my OB recommended when I got to that point!
I also found I slept better in a rocker/recliner and/or with LOTS of pillows.
Dont drink any caffeine after noon and dont drink too much water late in the evening (that way you arnet up peeing hourly).

Best of luck! I know its rough but :youcandoit:

Coming up on 33 weeks here and in the same boat - although tylenol pm (or just benadryl alone) is helping me get sleep for the first four hours until it wears off. I'm about to relocate to the recliner soon...

I'm in the same boat.. I haven't been able to comfortably sleep for weeks.. And it's just getting worse. My belly was actually really itchy last night so I took a benedryl before bed and I actually got 3 solid hours of sleep before I woke up to go to the bathroom, then I was back to normal of being up hourly...

Good luck! Your near the end!!

Thanks girls, I'll try the tylenol. I have already done the recliner and I STILL cant sleep in it.

I could never do the recliner, either. What I found to be most comfortable was a blow up air mattress on the floor. It was a $50 one we bought for my dad's visit- it was wonderful! I also had bad hip pain, so I went to the chiropractor.

Good luck- recovery from birth is easier than what your doing right now, IMO. :youcandoit:
