Have you tried a bassinet with an angled crib wedge? The bassinet is smaller than a crib, which should help them feel more secure, and the wedge will help keep them in place and propped up, more like the bouncy seat. Then you could transition them from the bassinet to the crib, still with the wedge after a few days.

I think all the angled crib wedges that go inside the crib (versus underneath the mattress) are part of that FDA warning not to use due to the danger of suffocation.

What do you mean that they won't sleep? Do they fuss, cry, scream hysterically or just play? Do they eventually go to sleep? Were the bouncy seats in a different room thatn the cribs? I agree that the large cribs can be overwhelming for babies who are used to a small space like a bouncy. If they are young enough, a bassinet sounds like a good idea. However, if the problem is reflux, rather than a larger bed or being in a different room, then maybe try elevating the crib by using a wedge that goes underneath the mattress as well as dietary changes and possibly meds.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the wedge under the mattress as well. But the second transition of the bassinete is a good idea.

Where were they sleeping in there bouncy seats, if they weren't in their room, what we did was 1st was kept them in their bouncy seats but put the seats in the crib, then we just cold turkey them into the crib but we put books under the crib feet below their head because they as well had reflux, they fussed a little the 1st night or two but after that did great! Good luck!
