Ok, we are just now at a point where the girls are pretty much in different sizes or at least should be. Haley is at the tale end of 18 month clothes and can fit into some 24 months stuff comfortable, where as Megan is still very much in 18 month.

At what point did you all or do you start to buy 2 different sizes? I am sure this is going to start making things more complicated and I realy didn't want to have to do this but I think we are getting to a point where we have no choice. Haley is 3lbs heavier and almost 2" taller than her big sister, haha.

I have the ability to put Haley's stuff on one side of the closet and Megan's on the other but right now they share a dresser so that would be a little more complicated.

Would be easier to just roll things up on Megan??

I have B/G twins and they have never been the same size. He started out 1.5 lbs heavier at birth and now is about 10-12 lbs heavier. My daughter is really petite but rather tall so I have to buy for her length and not her weight. We live in adjustable waist outfits. No idea about rolling pants because we have to do it regardless for my son. He wears a 4T but he is only two so we buy for his weight and not his height. I just buy what fits them and deal with it that way. Not sure if this helps but wanted you to know that you were not alone.

My girls have a pretty big size difference too. Elizabeth is 2 inches taller and 4 pounds heavier than Grace. I buy two sizes of pants, but one size of shirts and let Grace wear the bigger shirts. At this point, all their clothes are mixed together and we just have to look at sizes to determine the right size. It is a hassle and I wish they could wear the same size, but we just deal with it.

This is our EXACT situation, to a T! When they were still sharing a room/dresser, we just put Hannah's clothes in certain drawers, and Ben's clothes in certain drawers. I suppose you could do the same.

My Isabella is 3 lbs bigger than her sister & 1/4" taller. Marissa can wear the same size (3T) as Isabella but they are looser in the waist. I got tired of taking the time to take all her clothes to the tailor so I bought a sewing machine. I take a quick stitch in the waist so Marissa isn't constantly pulling nup her drawers. They each have their own dressers but I hang their clothes all together in the closet - I just take a quick look in the waistband to see who's is who's.

I didn't answer the part about storage but this is exactly what we do. We have one closet with a closet system. One side is Carmen's and the other side is Whit's. They share a dresser and cubbies. Carmen has one drawer for her pjs and Whit one for his. The other drawers can probably be cleaned out now but they were "community" items. With the cubbies, two cubbies for Carmen for onesies and socks and the same for Whit.

    Hope this helps!

My b/g babies started out in the same sizes until about a year old when DS started getting bigger quicker. He is about 6 pounds heavier and about 1.5 inches taller. DD is in a comfy 18 month and DS is outgrowing his 18 month and I have bought him size 24 months for the winter.

I am already buying 2 different sizes but mine are b/g so they don't share clothes anyway. I say whatever works for you, do it. If it's easier to buy the same size do it, just roll them up, if it's not a big deal to buy 2 different sizes then do that.
