Is it a big deal? My babies are Di Di, and A is bigger than B... A is 2 lbs 4 oz and in the 58% and B is 1 lb 12 oz and in the 12%
So since my last ultrasound, where they were only three oz apart, A has gained exactly a pound but B only gained 11 ounces.
The peri is having me come back in two weeks for another look, and a BPP
I have a history of having babies with IUGR, though she said it's not that at this point, for that they have to be in the 5% or less.

I have Di Di coming, boy and a girl. Boy was measuring a little more than the girl, just a few ounces like yours. My doc said we would watch it, to ensure the girl is growing on schedule, but he wasn't overly concerned.

My DI/DI girls were close as could be in measurements until 32 weeks, when Twin A hit the 75% percentile (4 lbs 13 oz) and Twin B is in the 25% (4 lb 4 oz). I don't think you have anything to worry about but definitely something to keep an eye on. Remember, too, that they say that ultrasound measurements have a 15% margin of error, on average.

I did meet a mother at a MoM-to-MoM sale who had her twins delivered in her 34th week because her twins sizes were considered too discordant. I think it was something like 5 lb 5 oz for her son and 3 lbs 8 oz for her daughter. They were, and are, both perfectly healthy.

My Baby A has always been a few ounces larger than Baby B...at my last visit they were 2 lb. 6 oz. and 2 lb. accordingly. My doctors have never worried, especially since Baby B has consistently been smaller...so she's just a smaller kid! Remember that with di/di, they really are two completely separate siblings...they just share the same birthday!

Although there's still that 30% chance that di/di SS twins are identical!

At 33 weeks, one was 4 lbs 9 oz and the other was 5lbs 5 oz (Di Di twins don't know genders) The perinatologist wasn't concerned about the difference since Baby A was right on target and Baby B was just measuring a lot bigger. Don't worry unless the Dr.s tell you to worry, and even then, they are just going precautious.

Erick always measured well ahead of Kayci. At 35/5 they were estimated 4lbs 1oz and 7lbs! At birth exactly two weeks later they were 6lbs 2oz and 8lbs 3oz. The discordance isn't as big an issue when they don't share a placenta.

as of yesterday...My baby boy is measuring 2.6 lbs. and my girl is measuring 1.15 lbs. a 7 oz difference. The doctor said it doesn't matter since it's like having two separate pregnancies... since they don't share anything. They say they only worry about it if they fall in the 10% or above 90% as far as their individual weights.
