I went to BRU today for diaper doublers. About a month ago, I stopped using diaper doublers and the boys have had a few leaks since then. When I did use them, they never ever had a leak. So I figured we needed them again. At BRU, I was bummed that they did not have any in stock but at the same time, I saw that Huggies Overnights had size 6. We currently use size 5. So maybe now that they have size 6, they wont need the diaper doublers. We shall see.

It's funny that you posted this.... We've been using Huggies size 5 (not overnights, just regular) for night times, but I just realized the other day that they're getting a little snug on my over-3-year-old girls. It had just been so long since they needed a new diaper size, I completely forgot that it could happen! Plus, they do sometimes get leaks, which they never used to, and (DUH) it's probably because they need size 6.

First we have to finish off that last box of size 5 from Costco....

I'm glad you posted this! Karina leaks through everything, and wakes up soaked from head to toe. It's such a pain...I have her in size 5 Huggies Overnights with a huge overnight maxi pad inside it, and even that doesn't work. (I think diaper doublers have been discontinued? I haven't found them anywhere for months.)

I finally bought size 6 Pampers Cruisers -- the size 5 fit her fine during the day -- to see if those would work. The Pampers fit her body a lot better than the Huggies ever did -- but, she still leaks out of them, although not as much.

I guess I'll try the size 6 Huggies Overnights? Please post and let me know how they work!

(Oh, and I have huge 20-month-olds...Karina is more than 36 inches tall, and about 30 pounds. Kevan is a couple inches and a couple pounds smaller, and the size 5 Huggies are still fine on him. But, he also drinks about a quarter of what she does during the day.)

Yep, the girls were in size 6 Huggies Overnights by the time we stopped using them. We use just regular pull-ups for night time now. I used to see the size 6 diapers and think I would never be buying those!

 I am so excited. I did not know that they made a size 6 in Overnights. I have been using a maxi pad {like using a diaper doubler} and the Huggies Overnites in a size 5 and we are still having leaks. I started using the Overnights and putting a pull-up on overtop of that and that seems to work fine. But I would love not to have to waste a second diaper everynight. Thanks so much for the tip.

I wonder if my bru stopped selling diaper doublers and now sell size 6 huggies overnights. I so hope these work! Yeah, I never thought we would be in size 6! Although they are bigger, 31 and 32 pounds!

Toootal lifesaver, thanks for posting this!!

wow, just a couple weeks ago i was told they didn't make the huggies overnites in size 6 and i was wondering what to do (i even posted about going to pull ups for the size 6)

diaper doublers WERE discontinued a few months ago, to my knowledge, anyway--but the info came from the same place as "size 6 overnites don't exist" LOL

ETA: another "you know you're a mom when..." moment: when you get excited about the existence of "specialty" diapers :)

So true! I thought about putting in my thread title that I am way too excited about this!

I looked online and found size 6 there so I may order some. I got the last 2 packages at my bru.
