    hello everyone
I have not been on the site for a long time.. its seems like time goes by so fast when your twins get bigger.
They will be 6 months on OCt 2. was wondering when they start to sit uo with out assistance.?they are rolling over and now sleep on their tummies which is scary for me because my daughter never moved in her crib.. these two move around alot when they are sleeping..
such fun age right now.. they are so happy and full of love.. it really was a long haul to get here but all you momma's were right about hanging in there and how much fun they are ... its just overwhelming x2 + a now 4 yr old.. Its getting easier every day.

another question.. when did you stop getting the sweats and hair falling out?
I still feel a lump of lard. I am going to my primary this week to get checked out .. was wondering when you felt like yourself agian. the weight is still on which if I let get to me I get really depressed.
    thanks momma's!

My girls are still a little wobbly but basically can sit up on their own now. Just this past week they've made real progress.
My DD Ella sleeps on her belly and I think it's fine. she can move her head and move around so I'm sure it's okay.

I never really had the sweats except for my first week home. i hope you get some answers from your doctor.

My two started being able to sit up without assistance at almost 7 months. They did it withen a couple days of each other. They are rolling and DS is even crawling so it definately is fun at hour house ;) My DS moves all over the crib as well. Everytime I check on him he's in a different position in a different spot of the crib. DD never moves. I put her on her back and she stays like that.

I never had problems with my hair falling out and no sweats. Hopefully you get some answers from your doctor!

Meara started sitting up last week. Ana can but only for short periods of time (she like to kick her feet and then she loses her balance). They both roll over and sleep on their bellies. Meara rolls over immediately when I lay her on her back and Ana will roll over at some point during the night. DH and I freaked at first, but now we know they are fine. And both of them move around a lot in the cribs too! Facing the opposite direction, all the way at the top of the crib looking at each other thru the slats, facing their crib toys (they now know how to make the turtle's music play!), etc.

As for the night sweats, those stopped after a month or so for me. My hair is still falling out though.. thankfully I have pretty thick hair so you can't really notice it. Good to go to the doctor though to make sure everything is ok with your thyroid. GL! -Leighann

We are starting to work on them sitting up and they are doing okay but get tired easily. We still aren't rolling yet although I know they can do it but can't quite figure it out.

I still get hot flashes and sweat but my hair loss is really slowing down. I would love to hear what your doc says about the sweating.

I still sweat all the time! Not night sweats but just from being with them all day! I finally felt like myself around 1 year. Looking back, I think I had ppd but when they turned a year, I felt much better.

Seamus began to sit around 7 months and by 8 1/2 months, they were both able to totally sit independently.

Owen and Ben were sitting unassisted at 7mo. They were rolling like crazy since about 4mo, so I was surprised at how long it took them to sit. Once I started working with them (propping them with the nursing pillow and playing with toys in front) they began sitting pretty quickly. I think you can help them quite a bit by focusing on it for a couple of weeks.

As for the night sweats and hair falling out...unfortunately I'm still having both of those <_< .

Emma sat at 5 months, Jake, not until 8 months. Some hairloss is normal, but you might ask for a thyroid check if you are concerned. I had the night sweats for about the first 2 weeks, are you still bfing? Other than night sweats, I just sweat more now. :bad:

We've been practicing sitting for about 6 weeks now. They can both sit up unsupported, but not for that long. Lilly is less stable than Owen. It think within two more weeks they'll be pros.

I had night sweats only for the first month or so, and my hair stopped falling out once I wasn't pregnant any more..def talk to your doctor.

Glad you're having a fun with the babies, six months is a great age, I agree!

thanks ladies.. I had my doctors appointment today.. and she is doing tons of blood work. I have not lost a single pound of weight since my 6 week checkup. I have been workingout ever since.. my babies will be 6months in october.. So I am very upset about this. doies nto make sense.. we are all healthy eaters. I do not eat bad at all. it just doesnt make sense.. I am so depressed aobut it.. I am just dont understand. my husband knows that I am doing all that I can and its just not coming off.
so I am anxious to see if something is wrong.. its so hard being this weight for so long.. with all my pregnancies the weight has been the toughest thing to get through.. especially when yo live a healthy lifestyle.
anyways. thanks for all your answers.. I am trying to get them to move and sit up..
