    Hi,

Just wandered if anyone had tried a sit and stand stroller for two year old twins. I was thinking it might be easier for quick trips from the car to drop offs this winter but not sure how well it will work out with two, two year olds.

    Thanks,
    Rebecca

I think it would work good. I have seen some twins in them actually.

I have twins that are 3 now and a baby that is 7 months. I got an used one before she was born thinking we could use the front for the baby seat and the twins could take turns for share the "stand" part. Bad idea. Sold it shortly thereafter on craigslist. I think it would have been great for just the twins. I had a duo glider for them but it was getting a little cramped in the back seat. I totally do not like side by sides. I wear the baby in a carrier - which I totally love by the way. We don't even have a stroller at this point, but if I came by an used sit and stand again I would get it for mall trips (the twins aren't the most patient of shoppers). Wear the baby and let the twins ride.

Before the baby was born we did use it for just the twins and it worked out great. I would still have it to this day if I had discovered that my LO hated her car seat and loved to be worn in a carrier.

    HTH!!

I am asking myself the same very question too. My son, Justin does not sleep in his stroller and he LOVES to watch people at the mall. I would think he would be able to do a sit behind or if he want to stand up. My daughter on the other hand will fall asleep so she would have to sit in front.

I would do this for mall later this Fall but the question remain the same should I go get one? I am currently checking on craig list for a used one. It won't hurt to try?

We use my brother's when we go visit, so that we do not have to bring a stroller. I personally would never get one for regular use. They fight terribly over who gets to sit where.

We have the Joovy Ultralight, similar to the sit and stand, which we will still use when we are out and about and mine are now 4 years old - yikes! They do fight with each other on who sits where but we make them take turns. I'm not sure about the sit and stand but the joovy has a very small seat for the front so sometimes whoever is sitting up front will slip off when dozing (we don't use the front tray). But for what we use it for it's worked out great.

I thought very hard on buying one, but I ended up buying a Chicco Citta SBS, NIB, for $100. I think it would have worked great for my two year olds. I was most interested in the Joovy Ultralight though.
