Just curious when you just put a sippy cup in front of your little ones to try/play w/. AND did you put in diluted juice or formula/bm first?

I believe it was around 7 months & I put water in it at first, then moved to diluted juice around 8.5 months.
They still don't like the sippy cups though....I have bought 3 brands & they just aren't into them yet.
    I try every day though!!
Even if they are just playing with them or chewing on the spout :)

I started around 6 months just here and there. I've just put water in them. Very rarely I've done diluted juice when DD has been constipated. They really caught on a month or so ago and love their sippy cups.

I started around 7 months putting water in a sippy. It took them a couple of months to figure out that they had to bring the cup to their mouth to get anything.

I started really early I guess. We started around 5 months. I put formula in theirs. I know some say NOT to do this and some say to do this. I really did it to get rid of all bottles by 1 year. We were close, they only had 1 bottle at night at a year. In the beginning it was those Nuby cups with the soft spout and they leaked <_< but they got the hang of them by 6-7 months and we finally got to move on to the normal Playtex and Gerber sippies!

I tried them a few weeks ago, with formula. They hated them, but I am still trying. They will take a few sucks and then stop. It doesn't help that they are not really able to hold them up like their bottles. I think I will try putting water in them and see if that works.

We started at 8 months introducing water with solids. They picked up on it quickly. At 10 months they really had the hang of it and I was able to put formula in sippy cups instead of bottles. So, that's all they used from then on. HTH :) .

We started at 6 months, mixing water with some juice. They did not get the hang of it until about 7 months. Oddly enough, they refuse to drink formula out of it??? But they do drink the juice and water out of it like no one's business.

I think we started around 6 months...too early in the morning to remember lol...I give them their sippy cup at the end of each meal with water. Here and there I give them so juice. They love them but make a huge mess. Not sure if I need to switch the kind I use or not.

I think it was around 6-7 months and I put water in it. M got it immediately, but it took A awhile to understand the concept.
