I hear about getting free formula for multiples. We are using Similac and I asked the doctor if he knew anything and he said no, but if I found whatever was needed he would sign it. Does anyone know where I would find this?

The only thing that I could possibly think of is WIC but they give Enfamil (that I can remember) and it goes by your household income. Not much help but like I said that's the only thing that I can think of off the top of my head. Perhaps you could find something on this with some internet research (thank god dh is the king of online research!). Goodluck and if you find anything please post!!

I had someone in the hospital come in and sign us up for 2 free cases of the pre-made stuff. You could try calling your hospital and see if they know anything. Your doctor can also try contacting their Similac rep to see if they can do anything for you.

We also got the same thing from our hospital. You might want to try calling the hospital's nursery where you delivered and see if there is anything they can do for you. Good luck!!!

I think there is something where you have to mail a copy of your babies birth certificates to similac and you will get formula/discounts. You could call and ask.
Also, our WIC uses Similac so you could always see if you qualify and what they offer.

We got two free cases from Similac and from Enfamil. Had nothing to do with income levels. MIL got a form from a similac rep (works at a hospital), we filled it out, had the pediatrician sign it, and sure enough, the formula showed up. We could choose the type of formula we wanted, but it was all pre-made. With the enfamil, I'm pretty sure our hospital signed us up.

Similac has a multiples club. The Similac sales rep was at the Dr's office when I was there with the boys. My Dr signed the multiples club form (must be signed by your pediatrician) and I mailed it in and recieved 2 cases of ready to feed formula! The sales rep also gave me bunches of $5 off coupons. The nurses at your pediatricians office will probably know more about it than your Dr. I don't remember seeing any info on the Similac website.

Sorry to be a pest! Does anyone in Washington know how I might get in touch with a local sales rep?? I tried my doctor - he is family practice so doesnt have contact with the sales reps. I also tried the hospital and they also said they dont do that :( I also tried calling Similac directly and got no help.

    Thanks ladies

There is a form that your pedi can sign. I work for a pediatrician and we have those forms.

Like pp said. As long as you have multiples income doesn't matter. My husband just brought the form home from work (we both work in a hospital with a pediatric after hours clinic). There was a box you checked that says multiples. Even on the top of the form it says something like low income or multiples. This particular one was for Enfamil, but Similac must do the same. Call your local hospital (oh, just read your other post...you did that already). The pedi after hours nurse also gave us samples with the form. One of my girls is on Neosure, so my dh is going to ask about Similac tonight at work, if he has any luck I will have him get a couple of forms and I can fax/mail them to you.

Our pedi called the Similac rep who visits their office and leaves samples, and gave him our name and address and he shipped us two cases.
