It's hot, hot, hot! And my little ones just love their sleep sacks. I tried to take them out of it the other day for night time sleep and poor little Brody cried for an hour. I think it's his security blanket type thing. Anyways -- I'm afraid to just put him in the sack and diaper because I'm worried that his diaper will shift and he'll wake up a mess....has anyone done this and it ended up just being fine? He sometimes wakes up with a poopy diaper....he's ALL boy, that's for sure. Thanks.

How about just a onesie with the sleep sack? I would keep the diaper from shifting and it wouldn't be too warm.

I've done a short sleeve onesie with a sleep sack too.

The boys sleep in a diaper and sleep sack every night. I put a size larger diaper on them because they sleep through the night and it works just fine!

I have often put my two down with just a diaper & a onesie or sometimes just a diaper in the summer, we've never had a problem.

My girls go to sleep with only a diaper on and we've never had a problem either. It's just so hot that there's no reason to layer them up so much, imo.

We have the AC on so the house stays pretty cool (72 degrees), so my LO's are in footed sleepers and fleece sleep sacks. I know it's cool because DH and sleep with comforters up to our chins. LOL

But I bet the onsie with the sleep sack would work well! Extra support for the diaper!

With it being so hot (for Washington) ;) we have done just the diaper and sleep sack and havent had any diaper issues.

My girls just started sleeping in their night diapers and sleep sacks this week (its been really hot here). If you're worried about the diaper moving around you can get a pair of those bloomer type panties (normally for girls worn under their dresses) to slip over his diaper.
