I have to confess that I call my boys everything under the sun! Some things have stuck, others haven't. After always referring to the boys as Baby A and Baby B in the NICU, I will affectionately call them that when talking to DH or we'll say this one and that one jokingly. We've always called them our little monkeys and somehow I've progressed to calling them monkey butt  ! I mean it in the dearest way, but I find myself calling them this more and more! I've got to stop before they remember this, but I think it's kinda cute. Not sure if DH has even realized it or if I do it around him. It's become an unconscious habit. Okay, thanks for listening to my confession.

Anyone have any other silly/weird names they call their kids?

Any variation of Mr. followed by a word followed by "pantses" like Mr. Stinky Pantses, Mr. Fussy Pantses, etc...you get it.

I tend to do Mr. Mc whatever...Mr. McFussy, Mr. McStinky...have no idea...I'm not even a Grey's fan.

We also various other names...I don't think I really ever refer to them by name other than on here.

They are generally "bubba" to each other. I do use their names occasionally to reinforce who is who but you know how it goes.

    Oh, what a fun thread!

I call Andrew "Kangaroo" sometimes, because he is just the most active, unstoppable little boy!

I actually don't have any nicknames for Ivy, but DH has the cutest habit of addressing her with a long list of epithets in Greek. (He's from Athens originally, emigrated to the US.) It translates as "Beautiful, sweet, sensitive, velvety, farty, and cushy!" And it sounds just hilarious in Greek, all these big majestic-sounding words about a soft little baby who farts a lot.

We also hardly ever call them by their names, especially Bear, Ally i'll call Alessandra occassionally, but only when i'm speaking spanish to her--but other times she is Alicia, Alexa or Alison

Bear is Boo Boo Bear, Boo, Punkin Roo, or just Roo (also Buddy when i talk to ally about him), Osowaldo when we speak spanish

Ally is Ally Cat, Punkin Pie or just Pie, and when we speak spanish, Alita de Pollo (chicken wing in Spanish), or Repollo (translates to cabbage--but it's just a degeneration of "de Pollo" --from the previous nickname). DH calls her "monito" which is "doll"

Their nanny NEVER uses any nicknames, always Adalberto and Alessandra, so they know those, too--but she does refer to Bear as "the meatball" cuz he's such a chunk

this IS such a fun thread!

Kevan is usually "Stuff" (our ped likes to call him Big Stuff) or Kev-Kev or Kev-man. He's also known as Drool Monster.

Karina was always Karina-Bina, which evolved to Karina-Bean, which evolved to just Beans or Beanster. DH also likes to call her Grouper (or Groups), because she makes a funny fish face that looks like a colossal grouper. Sometimes we call her Mega Baby, because she's just freakin' huge, LOL.

Nadia started off as Boobah, which turned into Boobish. But mostly I call her Pumpkin or Cookie Monster or Babe. DH calls her Kiddo.

Blake is peanut, Blake a doodle and dirty hairy when he gives me his “make my day” look
J.T. has been Budda since the day he was born (he weighed 10lb 9oz) and oh so cubby. Lately I have been calling him Eewgabooga which makes him laugh.
This isn’t really a nick name but today J.T. told me I had three twins when I said really who is my third twin he told me he is my big boy twin.

These are so cute! We have a couple of names for Caleb. Our cousin thought we were saying K-Love when we first had them so we call him that quite often. Then there's Calebmeister, Fussy Britches, Yellow Man (I think he's still has jaundice ;) ) and Slim. I usually call Braxton the Braxtonator or Fat Man. We recently started calling him Emo but the reason is too long and ridiculous to type write now.

I started called Baylinn Skeeter because she lays on her back, plants her feet and pushes her bum in the air. I said it looked like she had a skeeter (mosquito) in her bum, so DH started calling her Skeeter Bum, but I like just Skeeter. She's also Peanut because she's a tiny thing.

DH started calling Breena The Hoagie because she is so much bigger than her sister. I started calling her it too and now its stuck. I also call her Princess because her name means Fairy Land in Celtic. We also call her Chub-a-luba because she is 5 pound bigger then her twin sister.

I call both of them sis, sissy and sister.

We are all a bunch of GOOFBALLS!!! :D

    Sofia is Sofie-So or Sof
Maia is Maia-Moo or Monkey or 'Old Man Maia with the stinky farts' to which she laughs hysterically

I also call them both caca-heads when they poop.
And if they are being fussy they are Satan-etta and Devil-lina!

When I am talking about them I will sometimes refer to Maia as my firecracker and Sofie as my chubby or snuggly baby.

Awww, this thread is too cute!

My girl is always either Punky, Princess or Miss Fussybutt. She really is a princess... she already throws fits when things don't go her way!!! But it is so hard not to laugh when she does, because she will look at you with a straight face, start wailing in an instant, and be totally straight faced again like "Did you hear me mom?" Too funny.

My boy is Mr. Fussybutt, Mr. Man or Little man. He is so serious all the time. It's absolutely adorable. But way mellow. Love it.

It's funny because I hardly ever call my babies by their names either. I call DS "bubby" "chubba bubba" Japan-a-man"Snarf" Thundercat" Marky" and I really do use all of them. and DD " melly belly" "pretty girl" "mommy" mello" Melodear" my boyfriend calls DS "bubby the clown" because he has a clown hair hair line, and he calls DD "poo- poo-doo-doo" and it fits her little gassy self :)
