We put the girls to bed, and then a few minutes later Ainsley started crying. So, I go in to see what's up. She wants her blanket on, so I cover her, and then zip up her crib tent. Then she starts with something about zipping up the crib tent, and I think she's saying Ainsley zip it (I let them zip it part of the way), then I figure out that she's saying "Alvin zip it" (as in the chipmunk, my mom has an Alvin that sings the Christmas song) so I repeat it back, and she says, "yes Alvin!" and I say, "Well, Alvin is a toy, and he's at Oma's, so he can't zip your crib tent." Hissy fit insues. I leave, because I can't reason with her. I come back later and she's back to covering her with a blanket, then she is quiet and goes to sleep.

LOL I LOVE the silly tantrum excuses they come up with when they're tired! Glad it was short-lived.

Oh that was cute and funny reading that. I hate to see what my two will come up with next.

It's good to have a sense of humor with the temper tantrums. Too bad everything they demand at bed/inconvenient times can't magically be over at "Oma's" and unavailable. ;)

    :rotflmbo: What a fantastic imagination!

Trent threw a fit the other day demanding an "alligator". It took me quite a while to figure out he wanted a chip clip (to put on his tongue, of course).
