Sick season?

Hi ladies! Hope you all are doing well. I have a question. Are we entering sick season? My twins started runny noses like a month ago. The it developed to cough 10 days later. Then my son got worse. He was on antibiotics for 10 days. Then his sis symptom got worst: stuff noses an nasty cough. She has been on antibiotics for 8 days already. She is getting better. But her bro started low fever (101) and a kindda barking cough last night. Today he is so tired!!!! I called doc office. The nurse told me since he was jt done his antibiotics, they won't prescribe another one for him. I was told it might be a virus. So I just have to watch him go through with it. I'm so dead with 2 sick kids for over a month. I am wondering if it is the SICK season. My kids started daycare beginning if this yr. they got sick a lot though. But it's over a month!!!

 

The boys and I have been catching a lot of colds around here and we haven't come into direct contact with anyone sick that I know of. We got a cold around the end of July from my Dad who flew down for their birthday and that lasted over a week, probably 10 days like your family. I don't think we ever really got over it and then Alex started having a wet cough with a runny faucet nose, then the next day it was River and the day after that I got it. So right now, we've got 3 sickies in our house. So you're not alone.

 

Thank you so much for your reply. Yeah I was so tired of their being sick all the time. My son got a virus I'm sure. He is over the fever and cough. But night time, he puked his dinner out around 11pm for the past 2 nights, ten back to sleep. At least, they are feeling much better now. I got sick from them as well. But not that bad. I am just so nervous for this winter coming. They got RSV and adeno virus last mar and were hospitalized for a week. I hope they won't be that sick this winter time. I will pull them out of school this winter. How come kids don't come with free germs!!!?? Thank you!

Everyone and our family had a virus a couple of weeks ago. The kids all had fevers. I sure hope we aren't entering sick season yet though.
