should I purchase a Bella Band?

I'm just curious if anyone has purchased a bella band and if you found it to be useful and worth the money spent.

My cousin has one and wears it all the time. If I had known about them when I was pregnant, I would have worn them too. I hated the fact that my shirts were too short, especially when I was not quite ready for maternity clothes!

I never got one but I did just buy one for my cousin and think I would have found it very useful, especially with keeping those below-belly maternity pants from slipping down.

I bought a belly bra instead of the belly band. It was a tough call. If I had the money, I would have bought both! If you get one, let us know what you think! Does anyone know if they are they useful post-partum?

I have one and have gotten some use out of it. I don't go out much, because I'm on bed rest, but if I did go out more I'd probably get more use out of it. Mine is actually from Motherhood Maternity, but I think it's basically the same thing. I think it does help hold pants up and will come in handy later when I'm huge and my shirts are too short. It just feels pretty comfy, too.

I'm curious, too, if they may be useful post-partum...to kind of help hold things in. [IMG]

I got 2, a black one and a white one. I wear them whenever I leave the house b/c all of my pants fall down and all of my shirts are too short [IMG]

yes! i used both sizes throughout my pregnancy. a med then a large.
i had only one pair of maternity jeans that didn't fall down and quickly outgrew them, so these were a lifesaver.
this is where i got them, half the price of everywhere else i shopped.

    ebay maternity bands

can't tell you about post partum. i lost 40 lbs in the first week. i hear that's typical of twin mamas.

I got a black one and a white one pretty early on when all my own clothes were too tight but the maternity stuff was just HUGE (hmmm, i remember i thought that i'd NEVER fill it out - HA!!!).....for me it was good for the beginning, definitely kept those pants up, and as shirts started gtetting shorter it looks like you're wearing a camisole or t-shirt underneath.

I got two smalls:" probably should have gotten at least a medium, cause now it feels tight (i never actually opened the black one, i keep telling myself i;ll return it - five months later!)

i;d say check your local craigslist or the ebay site pp put; if you can get them for less than full price it would be a great deal. If you have to dress professionally (I'm lucky enough to work from home), then i think it would really help.
