Should I panic yet?

Okay, a little backround first...Earlier this month, dh and I used a birth control plan we like to call "Pull and Pray". This has never failed us in 11 years. The only times I got pregnant was when we were actively trying.

Last week I had a 24 hour stomach flu...I was super achy and really nauseas all day. The next day I woke up feeling much better. The problem is, I don't seem to be able to shake the nausea. It has been almost a week since I was sick and I still feel icky all the time.

The last time I felt like this was when I was pregnant with the twins.

Someone PLEASE tell me they had the stomach flu with lingering nausea!!

    Thanks for listening,
    Shoshana

Shoshana, the only way to be sure is to take a test and see. Last time I had the stomach flu, the nausea only lasted about a day or two. Good luck!!

Its possible. But the only sure way is to test. Are you late?

When we all had the stomach flu over Christmas, Lilly was still throwing up a solid week later, and it took me nearly that long to stop feeling nauseous. So don't panic yet!

But where were you in your cycle when you had sex? Does the timing seem like it's even possible? When are you expecting your period? Even with those questions put away, the answer will probably be "Wait and see!" I hope you get the answer you want. :)

My DH had a stomach bug that the nausea lingered for almost a week so I wouldn't totally panic.

BUT I would take a test! I use your same method so I sure hope it's a BFN!!

Test and see... that is all I can say!! I am on BC pill and we also "pull and pray" (lol I hve never heard it that way before!) just to be on the safe side as the pill doesnt seem to be stopping my ovulation!! Let us know!!

I wouldn't panic. I would wait and see. It really could be just lingering nausea from the flu.

I've had nausea that had me using a pregnancy test. I was pretty sure it was just a virus but the nausea was exactly like morning sickness. Anyway, it lasted about a week and then I was fine.

I had a stomach flu and the nausea/diarrhea lasted for a little over a week. I was also panicking that I was pregnant and was taking pg tests! It felt just like pregnancy nausea.

So I think it could still be the bug. But you might want to test to make sure!

I didn't have the 24 hour bug, I had the flu that lasted like 3-5 days but the nausea lingered on and on and I totally felt pg. But no chance of that here!

    HI
Thanks for all the responses...That night my dh went to walgreens to get a test. I swear he came back with the most complicated test on the planet! After messing it up completely, we had to wait until morning to do another test.

It was negative. I am very relieved! I love my children but I just don't know where we would fit another one!

Now, technically my period isn't due until the 28th. I hope I get it early just to stop thinking about all this. Keep me in your prayers!

    Thanks again,
    Shoshana
