Should I call?

I have felt very little from either twin today. We were out and about, so as soon as I got home, I checked them with my Fetal Dopplar (that thing is a life saver). HB's sounded good, and it sounded like baby A was moving a little. With baby B, I didn't hear much movement, but her placenta is also anterior.

Even though I have picked up their hb's, should I still call?? (Though I just felt a little something). I was going to give it a little more time since I ate about an hour ago.

Try to drink some orange juice or soda and lay on your side to see if the movement picks up. If it doesnt then it would be worth the peace of mind to go in and get checked out. I know there were times when I didnt feel one and went to L&D, usually they had just changed positions, but that wasnt a risk I was willing to take, so I always went in

I think you are still pretty early on to be feeling consistent movement. Honestly, I wouldn't call especially since you said you were out and about. When you are busy you are like their built in rocking chair, lulling them to sleep. If you have a snack or something sugary like Cassie suggested then take up residence on the couch and see what happens. At 22 weeks I hardly felt a single movement never mind anything consistant so this would not have alarmed me at all.

  4. I'm all for eating something sweet or chugging a coke and laying down. I'm about as far along as you and I saw my two on u/s yesterday at l & d and they are unbelievably active. Yet, I only feel them a ton about every other day. On the off days the movements aren't near as noticeable. HTH.

i also have anterior placenta and with that you wont feel regular movements, even at 22 weeks - i started feeling regular movements at 25 weeks...

My doc told me not to worry about consistent movement until after 28 weeks. There were times that the babies would be super active on ultrasound & I wouldn't feel it (even still), so I'm sure as long as your HBs are fine, all is well. Maybe just ask the doc at your next appt what he/she thinks, but for now, I wouldn't worry. They'll probably be super active as soon as you lay down to go to bed ;)!
