So I sat here tonight and ordered a new pair of shoes for summer, for me. Last year at this time I had a pair of $2.99 flip-flops on that was the only shoe I wore my entire pregnancy Yes even to a Relay for Life Black Toe Gala! They were my life savers! So just wondering what shoes did you wear if any? :FIFblush:

Crocs were my life saver while pregnant. Early on I bought a couple of pairs of cheap shoes a size up and in wide. They didn't last long. It was unfortunate too because I have to wear "office" attire and then I'd have my crocs on...but I love them...still do.

My PERIS office had signs everywhere that said NOT to wear flip flops while pregnant as they are easier to slip in. So I went out and bought a pair of tennis shoes that were strappy so my feet could breathe.

The last couple weeks the only shoes I could wear were Crocs. But I work in a hospital and wear those all the time anyway. I literally could not fit in anything else though.

what shoes. It was high summer when i was expecting my two and the very idea of putting on a pair of shoes on my well swollen feet was the most devestating idea ever. So I was shoeless for as much as possible.

I wore flip flops the whole time I was pregnant. One time last summer I had to go to a banquet with DH and I had to wear some strappy high heels, but I ended up taing them off half way through the night. It was awful!

I lived in Ugg boots during the first 1/2 of my pregnancy -- I loved not having to put on socks and still have my feet stay toasty. Then when the weather warmed up I switched to a pair of sandals that I could slip my feet into (one big strap across the top). It's funny, but I don't think I wore shoes for the first three months after my girls were born.

I was on bed rest for half of my pregnancy but when I went to appointments I wore flip flops. I heard the same thing about them being a risk while pregnant, but my feet only touched the ground to get from the car to the wheelchair. Wow, just realized how much I don't miss being pregnant.

I had some slip on flat leather ones I started in. But by the end I couldnt fit my swollen feet in anything. I wore slippers if I had to go out and that was just to the OB office. I still would get rings over the top of my feet even wearing those. Thank God it wasnt summer for me, I would have had to go barefoot cuz my flip-flops didnt even fit!

I have winter babies so I couldn't wear flipflops :(.

Wit the twins, I mostly wore my Bjorn clogs, but I still wore high heels and dressy boots, too. With Liam, I also wore heels and stuff, but in my casual times toward the end I wore my Uggs. (Which I love wearing!!!).

My feet weren't swollen (that was the only symptom I didnt have for 9 months), but I wore flip flops for comfort!

I wore Mephisto sandals, they were so easy to slip on without bending over! For the last couple of weeks all I could wear were my husbands slippers!! I even wore them shopping. So sad.

I wore Dansko clogs......they were born in April, so it was a bit too chilly for flip flops. Although I think at the end I did end up wearing them b/c my feet were SO swollen nothing else fit.

My feet didnt swell until after I had the girls so I wore my chucks. Tying them was a pain though and eventually someone (usually my sister) had to tie them for me. Once I got put on bedrest I wore nothing, not even clothes if I didnt have to because it was SO HOT! :icon_eek:
