Shoes!

I have a month to go and none of my shoes fit. I thought about buying a pair of flip flops to tide me over for the next few weeks but even going up a couple of sizes my feet are too fat to fit! Anybody have any cheap solutions? (barefoot not an option)

 

I went from a size 8 to a 10! Thank god I'm back down to an 8 I really thought I lost my feet as well as everything else. I bought a pair of flip-flops at Target, but I couldn't buy cute ones because the cute ones were too narrow. My feet were huge!

 

I wore flip flops for the duration of my pregnancy! You may want to look in mens sizes as they tend to be a little wider. GL!!

 

Last pregnancy I bought fake birkenstocks since you could loosen the buckles to make them wider, they were actually comfy. But the buckles on the fake ones left yellow spots on my pinkie toes that would NOT come off LOL. So I just lived with funny colored pinkie toes. Heehee. This summer I bought the nike or adidas type that are flat and have one strap across the toes that is velcro so that I can make it bigger or smaller as needed. Good luck!

 

I have both the ugly big flip flops and the birkenstocks. Both fit my ever widening feet.

Thanks, ladies! After birkenstocks were mentioned I remembered I had a pair somewhere in the bottom of my closet. Not very pretty but at least I have something on my feet and I can adjust them if I need to.

 

Definitely men's flip flops. That's all that would hold my feet and even then towards the very end, they didn't.

 

Try some crocks, I think they are the most comfy shoes ever!

 

My MIL had some flip flops that are awesome! They are made for wide feet and it feels like I'm walking on cushions (similar to crocs). I'm so happy to have some comfy pregnancy shoes that should last me this final month and I didn't have to go out and purchase anything! :yahoo:

I just bough them one size bigger and so far I can fit inside
antoher option yes crocks - and I am sometimes wearing mens one.
last pregnancy I was able to buy the extra extra wide sandals with velcro and just adjust it to my foot wide I killed them during 3 months of the pregnancy ( June, July and august) this time I decided to stay with flip flop. so far so good just need to wear them 2 more weeks before c-section.
