I'm excited that Karina understands the word no. We've been saying it to the girls for quite a while now and they usually do stop whatever they are doing and look at us, but I never really got the feeling that they understand what it means. Today while Karina was doing her normal "choke my sister" routine (this is a recent obsession for her. It's a lot like Homer choking Bart on the Simpsons  ) I told her no and she stopped and looked at me and started crying. I thought it was just a fluke, but the same scenario happened about 5 minutes later. I think she understands me. Woo hoo! Now, I know that doesn't guarantee that she will listen, but it's so fun to see that they are starting to be able to comprehend.

Woohoo for proof of understanding. They are smarter than alot of people think! And trust me, even though they understand, they still choose not to listen at times
