At only 16 mos, my daughter is already showing some true diva-ness. It is so cute, how she screams when we go into the shoe store, or begs for makeup brushes & cries until she gets a pony tail. :) But the other day took the cake! They woke up really cranky, so I put them in their high chairs & let them watch a cartoon while I made breakfast. I was listening along while I was working......it was the Backyardigans & they were going to some kind of treasure museum. Anyway, they get to this room & say "Look at all the diamonds & rubies!" I heard the biggest, loudest "OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!" come out of my daughter that I've ever heard!

 What am I going to do? She's already thinking "diamonds are a girls' best friend"! :D DH was so cute, when I told him about it......he just told her, "Don't worry, Daddy will get you a diamond."

Just wait. Wait until she argues that the jewelry catalog that just showed up in the mail is hers and has a fit because you look at it first. And wait until the jewelry catalog is how she learns her colors. You know, purple is amethyst, red is ruby. It just gets better.
