She tried to eat a spider

Out of the corner of my eye I see Brookie, shes sitting by the sliding glass door. Then I see something moving, something small. Just as I get to her, I see her reach out and grab the little moving thing. I get closer and its a spider...on her way to her mouth My little girl has more guts than my 3 year old son. Thank goodness I grabbed it (which btw, freaked me out big time) before she got it to her mouth

 

Yuk! She is a gutsy girl, mine will admire bugs from afar but still don't like to touch them. Glad you got it away from her before she had a little snack

I just have to say, I now have this creepy crawly feeling on the back of my neck, I don't do bugs well!

:icon_eek: When Hannah was 2, we were sitting outside, and she comes running up to me with something in her hand. "Look Mommy," she says, "a widdle baby wormy." It was a SNAKE! EWWWWWWW!! Thank goodness it was just a baby black snake...but still....yuck!

 

I guess this proves that babies will stick anything they can grab in their mouth! :bad:

 

What an adventurous baby!! Just goes to show you need to have eyes in the back of your head with these babies! :lol:

 

Yeah, that's gross. My DD ate a dead fly the other day!

 

Yuck! But think of how great her hand eye coordination is!!!!!

 

One time I put my DD into a bucket to keep her occupied for a moment while she was outside. She was around 7 months and my DH said "Isn't there a bug in there?" I said "She'll never catch it. It will just keep her busy." Came back a minute later and found her ABOUT to put a very scared cricket in her mouth....

Then again, I guess she came by it naturally, because my mother says I ate ladybugs. She said she fished so many out of my hands she decided to give up and let me eat one. Then she couldn't bear it and went in after the wet wiggler.

Guess we're not that bright......

Eww! That is just gross!! I would have freaked out! I don't like even touching them with a tissue let alone my hand.

 

That is so ewww. :blink: I don't know what I would do honestly. I can't touch bugs of any kind...would it hurt them to eat it?? Just kidding.

 

O YUCK i dont do spiders, inless its with the bottom of a shoe

I had to take one out of Em's hand the other day...I saw her trying to get something into her mouth (thankfully she missed) and was horrified when I saw she almost ate a rolly polly!

 

:rotflmbo: thats funny. I can laugh because it wasn't my kid...I would have freaked out!
