My girls are 4 months old and about a week. We were outside tonite, and my one girl was practicing rasberries and roaring (yea, imitating DH) and just having fun...

Well the neighbor walks over, and goes to say Hi. My baby girl SHRIEKED like nothing I've ever heard before, and then just started bawling!! Got her calmed down, and neighbor tries again. Again, she started wailing (though no blood curdling scream this time) and the poor neighbor just walked away and went home..... :FIFblush:

Well, I guess you can't ask that neighbor to babysit now. ;) Sorry, that she scared your neigbor. I am sure they know that babies get nervous around people they don't know.

My Emma did that with a dear lady from my church, she would just scream in horror anytime she saw her. Now they are the best of friends. Emma calls her "my no-no". Maybe it'll take her awhile to warm up to your neighbor.

Reagan did that to my oldest ds! But in her defense he was bopping her w/a pillow (gently) & then came back to give her a hug (I was holding her all through this) & she had had enough, before he even laid a hand on her she shrieked at him. Hurt the little guys feelings...but at the same time I couldn't help but laugh!

Mine have done that too! They rarely cry, but at this one neighbor, when they see her they literally start bawling...it really is funny. I come up with the goofiest excuses!?!?
