She rolled down the stairs

We just moved into a new house that has a family room with three stairs leading down into it. DS has mastered crawling up and down but DD has only been able to crawl up the stairs and hasn't attempted to make her way back down. Well, last night, while DH and I were watching TV, DD lost her balance at the top of the stairs and fell backward and then rolled the last two steps. DH ran to go catch her as she was falling but was too late. So, she lifts up her head, and I fully expected screams like DS gave when he fell down the stairs, but no, DD has this huge smile on her face and laughs....she thought it was a ride! I think I have a rollercoaster lover all ready

 

That's funny. Elina did the same thing two days ago when she hit herself in the head with a toy. I thought she'd be crying from it, but no, she laughed so hard she gave herself the hiccups. Crazy kids.

 

Whew! You freaked me out when I read the title of your post! I was expecting words like "ER visit" and "cried for 4 hours straight" not "smile on her face" and "laughs"!!! It looks like you have a daredevil in the making.

 

Whew, glad she wasn't hurt! Bet she nearly gave you a heart attack! Hope she doesn't make a game of it

 

aren't kids great - mine fell off the couch headfirst 10 minutes ago and didn't twitch...
