She pooped on the potty!

    We have been taking the kids to the potty after all meals since they were about 15 months. We normally do not take off their diapers or anything, just getting them in the habit. But when one comes to us and says "poopy" or "peepee" we will take them and take off the diaper.

    Today dd pooped on the potty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is nice to know she can and will keep me motivated to continue taking her in as I had lost all motivation to do so lately.

    I totally feel your joy and excitement. My girls have started to show an interest in sitting on the potty. One day I put them on thinking it would be a good time to start getting them comfortable on it but not expecting anything and Claire pooped. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy I called anyone I knew who would appreciate it.

    Here's to more of where that came from!

    wow! Kristi that's awesome! your girls aren't even 2 yet! I'm jealous! I'm not even expecting any such success until my boys are at least 2 1/2 boys are later potty trainers after all. but I'm really happy for you!
