She has a BOYFRIEND!

    Alice has a boyfriend. I am secretly thrilled by this. . .I was always too weird and too tall to have a preschool boyfriend so for her to have one makes me melt. :give_rose:

    Anyway, the details:

    His name is Joey, he's five. They hold hands all day at daycare, play exclusively with each other, and talk about getting married. We went to a birthday party on Saturday and Alice was scared to go on the bouncy house/water slide and Joey grabbed her hand gently and said to her, "I'm going to the top Alice, do you want to go with me?" :wub: Then when she said no, he asked Roycie to go, but in a "I'm a five year old boy, I'm very macho" sort of way.

    He's a very sweet boy and Alice said yesterday to me, "Joey was at school today. I'm his girrrrrrlfriend. We held hands and he gave me an apple slice."

    To which, Royce goes, "But Joey's MY friend, not yours!" :ibiggrin:

    :wub: that is soooooo cute! I'm sure Joey is just the first of a long line of royce's friends who will be alice's boyfriends.

    I'm sure too. They'll probably steal each other's friends left and right. I should start keeping tabs on who is friends with who first.

    Good luck with the new son-in-law! Once Sarah got a boyfriend she totally had her life planned out.... she was having triplets, her house, her car, etc, etc...feel sorry for the boy! She even had names for her triplets Daisy, Jack, and something else (can't remember now). Totally funny stuff!

    This whole thread is cracking me up. Can you just ask her not to be too bossy? Aaron is now a confirmed bachelor because he got tired of the girls at school telling him he was their boyfriend and they were going to get married. He even broke down one day and said "Mom, I don't WANT to get married". I explained to him he was 5 and it was ok with me if he waited 30-40 years to get married :)
