She fell!

We went to JCPenney's this morning to have the girls' pictures taken, and everything was going really well. We got all of their together pictures done in one outfit, and then changed them for their separate pics. Anywhoo.. We were starting to do Lily's individual picture when she decided to crawl toward the photographer.. We all rushed forward as she went head-first off the box, and the photographer was able to get her hand under her head so it didn't hit the floor, but she still fell pretty hard... Poor baby! Luckily, she wasn't hurt at all, and we were even able to get her to take our family photo and her individual picture (with DH holding her w/his arm under a sheet) and still smile for it. I don't blame DH (I was holding Lydia) and it wasn't the photographer's fault... She was just too fast for all of us! I just feel bad for her...

So anyway, that was our big adventure for the day...

 

I have always worried about those tables they have them sit on! And wondered if there had been many babies take nose-dives off of them. Poor punkin!

 

Not only do those tables scare me but, they do not have them set up for twins!!! When we went to do their pictures before they were sitting up on their own we would have to hold them under the sheet because their was only one chair for a child to sit on and we would have to balance them on it with us holding them even.

Thank goodness she is all right!!!

 

I'm glad she is alright. How scary.

I think all photographers should do the photos on ground for babies and toddlers.

This exact same thing happened to us at their 6 month pictures - also at JCP!!! One of ours fell right off the table - I felt horrible! We both thought the other had ahold of him and he dove head first right onto the floor. He screamed bloody murder but was not hurt. We were all quite shaken up after that - I cried like a baby the rest of the day. You are not alone - these things happen!!

 

OMG! I thought I was all alone on this one! Mattea fell at JCP also when we were taking seven month photos! She hit the hard floor and NO ONE was even able to get a hand near her. How scary, I really do wonder how much this happens.

 

OMG poor thing! I'm glad shes alright. I don't like those tables, babies can get hurt to easily.
