I would really like to keep the boys in the same crib for as long as I can... but.... they have started become more mobile - just rolling on their side's and scooting sideways - if they are asleep they don't move generally, but when they startle in the night they scoot. Lately, it has just been their heads together, and other times Michael is laying horizontal instead of vertical...

During their naps I am able to keep an eye on them but at night we are asleep. I will check on them once or twice in the night and in the morning I am normally awake while they scoot and move...

we are currently living with my folks and we dont have room to set up both cribs - once we move (hopefully within a month) then I was planning on setting the other one up...

what do you guys think? if you share cribs, how long have you been able to?

Our little chunky monkies have been seperate sleepers for about 3 months now. We stopped when Dev starting bullying Ethen LOL They now weigh 18.5 and 19.2, yes at 7 months they are chunky, and sleep in the same room but we have them on 2 crib mattresses on the floor side by side with a divider between them and a homemade barrier on the 2 sides that dont have anything. It works for now.

I had James and Stacy in the same crib for the first 6 months. I moved them when I found James standing on Stacy's head one morning. I was afraid to separate them because James used to suck on Stacy's elbow to fall asleep, but they did great the first night.

I put mine in seperate cribs around 4months old, they just seem to roll over on top of each other and wake each other up. So in the interest of everyone getting more sleep we seperated them - it worked great, they slept better and so did mom and dad!

I split mine at 4.5 months, as they kept kicking each other. I would have done it sooner but we didn't have their second crib yet (we had to get a new one because the other one was recalled).

B/c we have mini-cribs, our trio co-slept for only 4 wks. From there, the girls co-slept for another 2 mths. Right before they hit 3 mths old, I had to separate them. I have a feeling had we gotten a regular size crib, they would still be co-sleeping. It was much easier to have them in the same place rather than 2 seperate cribs.

I separated at 3.5 m as Seth will move all over the place and Nathan likes to do leg lifts and slam them down waking Seth of course… and they slept great once we moved them… well really I slept great because I wasn’t worried anymore… gl

I believe it was right around 5 months that we separated them. They were sound asleep at 1 AM, and suddenly Ben was screaming. I ran into their room, to fing that AJ had turned himself 90 degrees, his legs were across Benny's stomach, and he was kicking... that was the last night they co-slept!!

I just separated them. Maya moves all over while sleeping and Sofia stays still. So in the cosleeper Maya would be right on top of Sofia and would sometimes turn and get the sleep sack too close to Sofia's face for my comfort. They sleep very well apart- Sofia stays in spot still and Maya moves all over her crib
