Okay so I hate to waste milk, so i sometimes share a bottle, If I feed one and they dont finish it all and another is still hungry I will give the other the rest of that bottle. My boyfriend can't stand me doing that but I can't help it. Does anyone see this as wrong.

I don't see it as wrong at all! my girls are breastfed they don't have a specific breast -they rarely take a bottle but when they do - they share and they also share jars of baby food and spoons / sippy cups. I figure they were inside together and are exposed to the same things anyway now - I don't figure it hurts anything! and you are right about not wanting to waste the milk!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My two share bottles all the time, unless one is sick. But we've only had one cold and they both caught it despite our efforts to the contrary.

It's totally fine! Share and share alike, that's what I say. We share bottles, spoons for solids, they chew on all the same toys all day long - whatever. No big deal. James had a cold last week and I was sure Evan would get it as well because of all the germ sharing around here...but he never did.

Oh heck yah, I used to do it. My dh wasn't a fan of it at first and then my comment "feel free to go and make some more formula so they don't have to share" stopped him in his tracks. :D

My twins share everything - boobs, toys, fingers... They're both slobbering on all the toys all day, so I figure that trying to keep things separate is a lost cause. Sharing bottles should be no big deal. :)

I never used soap and a wash cloth on my breasts between babies when I was nursing either. I don't see the difference. Sharing is a good thing!

Yes! Other things they share: their solid food and spoon (one bowl, one spoon.. much easier!), their toys (out of one mouth into the other!), their hands and feet (they are always grabbing for each other and putting that in their mouths' as well).. so pretty much everything!

funny you posted this, as i usually keep leftover breastmilk in the bottle and switch out the nipple when it comes time to feed the other....well, today i fogot to change the nipple and realized it after DS had it in his mouth and was sucking away, so i shrugged it off

i have kept their bottles and binkys separate up to this point, but they do share toys and boobs, so its just as well LOL

I never shared bottle with my two. I don't even like them sharing a sippy cup now, but that is just me. But I have know lots of people who did share bottles and sippy cups.
