My id g/g are always taking binkies from each other and sucking on them. They get a kick out of it and laugh, laugh, laugh. I use to keep them labeled and worried about them sharing. But now it's useless and even if one has a little sniffle the other one gets it anyway. Can anyone relate and do you let them just share them?

Mine share, even though we have boy/girl colored binkies. My boy LOVES to steal his sister's...and he doesn't even really like it all that much, unless it is hers! LOL! They do share everything, so I am not worried about germs anymore.

[IMG] I have boy/girl twins, too & they are ALWAYS sharing. I don't worry about it....if one gets sick, the other's going to get it anyway. Last night, though, we were putting them to bed & I was laying Zoe in her crib. DH comes up behind me with Johnny in his arms, takes the purple binky out of his mouth & gives it to Zoe and gives Johnny a blue one. I look at him like ??? and he says, "I just can't handle it." [IMG] Doesn't bother me at all if the colors get switched. I do, admit, try to match them to their outfits. [IMG]

I think I worried about it for the first five months with my first set, then it all went out the window. Now, it's share and share alike. I figure if one gets sick, the other one will too. I just try to take all the binkies every two days or so and I (gasp) run them through the dishwasher to sterilize them.

My husband's aunt was over helping me one day and I could tell she was grossed out by them sharing binkies. After about 30 min. in my chaotic house, she looks at me laughing and says "I guess shared binkies isn't that big of a deal in the scheme of things [IMG]" Usually, if someone gives me grief about any of my parenting decisions, I like to let them "help me out" at home for an hour or so. That's usually all it takes!

We keep our b/g pacis separate at this point. They don't seem to take them on purpose yet. Sometimes they look like they are grabbing for it so our days may be limited.

Our boys share. They each use the same color Soothie binkies, so its impossible which one belongs to which baby!

My girls always shared. They shared spoons for feeding and I often had one finish the other's bottle as well. By that age it was very difficult to keep them from catching each other's colds since they shared toys anyway.

You bring up another point...yes I too ended up letting them finish one anothers bottle at times. So you are not alone on that one.

We try to keep them seperate, but I think it is mostly do to the fact that we don't want to lose a binkie or leave one behind. They are also on the soothies, so it is hard to tell them apart.

    Mine do it too....

They are even sharing sippy cups now. My DS just insist on taking away his sisters anything. We have boy/girl colors, and it never fails that he ends up with the pink/purple of whatever... [IMG]! DH always gives DS the boy colors, and DD the girl colors, but it doesn't matter as soon as he walks away, they trade. Sometimes I just give them to each, and don't even worry about the color...they will trade if they want what the other has anyway, I think they are conspiring [IMG] to drive DH crazy [IMG]!

ours share pacifiers, bottles, & breastfeed. The other day, Maya was laying down sucking her paci, & Mira was sitting up next to her. She grabbed Maya's paci & shoved it in her own mouth. It was fun to watch. I've tried to separate when one starts to get the sniffles before the other, but it just seems impossible to keep all separate.

Thank you all for your input. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one and not the only one who thinks it's also cute to watch them tease each other with them.
