    Hi mommies,

I normally boil veggies like sweet potato, carots, courgettes and beans together, then sometimes add avocado when mixing all veggies in the blender. More often I add rice cereals wth them.

As for the 2nd meal during the day I mix baby cereals with bananas, apples (sometimes) and formula.

I just would like to cook my babies other varieties. Any suggestions?

On the other hand, considering my babies' age, I wonder whether I can give them fresh carot juice or fresh apple juice for instance.

I Look forward to know about your babies' best meal. That would be very helpful for new ideas to try in the kitchen for my babies.

    Thanks a bunch.

My boys favorite combos were banana/pear/apple and chicken w/applesauce. They loved anything with blueberries too, though I didn't make those myself b/c they were out of season.

You mean you mix banana/apple/pear for instance all together with chicken w/apple sauce?

    Thanks.

Do you ever look on www.wholesomebabyfood.com? They have some good recipes and also lists of things that go well together (so if you click on avocado, it lists recipes and then a bunch of other fruits/veggies/proteins that mix well with avocados, etc.). I used that site religiously when I was starting out.

    Formula!! :)

My oldest loved when I would bake chicken with papaya and mango then dice it all up for him. All I would do was throw a chicken breast in the oven with the fruit and bake it for 30 mins.

Nope. They are two separate things. My boys would only eat 1-2 kinds of food in one sitting. BPA (banana/pear/apple) was with a veggie for lunch, oatmeal was breakfast, chicken and applesauce for dinner. That would be a favorite day for the boys.

Yes, I've seen it and found that it offers great advices. But are all the recipes found in this site tasty for babies?
