Seriously, the boys have been working on getting their 2-year molars for at least the past five months, and I've seen ZERO progress. The only possible indication that they might be closer is some increased hand-chewing and early waking and nap disruption on Jake's part. I can hardly tell what's going on in the back of their mouths, but I don't think much is happening in there. I've got a friend with a 2-year-old who has been experiencing the same thing.

How much longer is this going to last? Seriously! I hate teething! :80:

Anyone else want to share their 2-year-molar woes?

ME ME ME!! Both have been teething with the 2-year-molars for about 5 months as well. There are no signs that they have broken through yet on Katelyn and Blake's both bottom finally broke through about 2 weeks ago. He has been waking early, very, very ornary and overall this crazy little person at times lately!!

I am with you-- WHEN DOES IT END?!?!

I keep waiting to see ours. Today Sofia was complaining that her teeth hurt, but I looked back there and saw nothing.

Emma's came in about 6 months ago all within a month. Alex, who will be 3 on 6/28 still has NONE. He has been working on them for almost a year!!!! Both of my kids were late for their first teeth. Emma was 11.5 months and Alex 13 months for their FIRST teeth  . I never thought I'd blame his crabbiness on teething at this age!

Ours took forever, too! The boys wouldn't even open up enough for me to see back there so I couldn't really tell how much progress was being made. If I tried to use my finger to feel I would get chomped on every time. I still brushed back there with a toothbrush but I couldn't really see what was going on. Then one day, I just noticed that the molars were all there for both boys. I don't remember exactly how long it took but they were well over 2yo when I noticed they were finally in.

We're having trouble with their one year molars. Not so much for Bella, but Josie's gums have been swollen and she's been drooling like crazy for about three months now. She gets really cranky and chews on everything for a few days and I think they're finally going to come through, but then she goes back to normal and nothing comes through! And she was an early teether too - her bottom teeth were in at 5 months!
