Sesame Place?

We are going to Sesame Place in May and I was just wondering if there was anything else to do in the area since we will be there 2 days? Also, any tips for Sesame Place would be great.

I'm not sure of what else to do in the area, but we went last year and I would definately recommend the character lunch. The food was decent with a large variety and the all the characters came up to the table for pictures.

 

When are you going? We are meeting up with a large group of TSer's over Memorial Day weekend. We will be at Sesame Place on the Sunday, and we have a picnic on the Saturday. Let me know if you want more info about joining us.

Other than that, how old are your kids? The Crayola Factory is about an hour from Sesame Place. A lot depends on how active you want to be. Lancaster is about 1 1/2 -2 hours from SP, and there is Dutch Wonderland there, as well as lots of outlets.

 

We are leaving Monday, Memorial Day, spending the night in a hotel and going to the park on Tuesday. We are coming from the DC area so I'd like to find things that are on the way home, and not out of the way. My twins are 3, but I have an 8 mo old as well. Grandma and Grandpa are coming along to help with the baby.

You will just miss us then! I don't know maybe something in Philly? They have the Please Touch museum there.

 

You can always venture to Hershey PA. It's not too far from there. Also near Philly there is the Strasburg Railroad, its a museum and a train ride. Fun for kids!

 

Oh Shucks you are just going to miss the TS gathering there. I don't know much about the area, besides venturing around Philly, but there is Lancaster not too far away, and Hersey like Sarah mentioned.
