Lauren is having a lot of issues lately and I am wondering if she is having some seperation anxiety, but isn't this a little early?

It can start anywhere between 8 and 18 months. Mine are 10 mths now. Brielle started it at 8 months and Zack is still my calm and relaxed babe - thank god! I don't know what I would do if they were both like that!

Never too early! My guys started about 7 months -- one day they just woke and said, "Wait a minute -- Mommy isn't attached to my leg! :Whaaaaa!:"

    This too shall pass. :)

Same here! Bella has had it since 7mo. and Quinn is on and off with it. Don't know how long it lasts though?

I thought it was way too early for my girls, but honestly, as soon as i leave the room they cry. As soon as I am out of eye sight. They scream. As soon as I come back, they stop.

Gosh mine are only 6 months and just started this about a week ago. DD screams if I leave the room even for a second while shes awake. DS is not as bad when I leave the room as long as his sister is there with him but if shes not he screams. I also have to keep the shades on the stroller pulled back so they can see me or they scream.

I guess its nice to be wanted but geesh I cant even go potty without having to hear screaming the whole time.

Wow mine just turned 4 months, and one DEFINETLY has it! I just came back from a week long business trip, and she would NOT let me put her down all weekend. MIL would try to tend to her, she would scream bloody murder if I left, and would only calm down once I had her in my arms. We've been sleeping together all weekend, and the only time I can put her down is once she's in a dead sleep and I know she won't wake back up for awhile.....

That made going back to work today very hard (it was MY turn for seperation anxiety) but I'm dealing.

Not too early. That was around the age that Nicole went through it. She wouldn't let me out of her sight at any time. I couldn't even leave her with my friend with Danielle and 3 other kids to go do something with my car at the shop. I had to bring her with me and leave Danielle with my friend. It does pass. It took until about 12-13 months for Nicole to get better.
