Separated in Kindergarten

We just got the letters letting us know about the girls' kindergarten classes. They have been separated. We did not want them separated this year. We are not going to try to pursue this anymore because I am afraid that it will be taken out on the girls. They will both have their orientation on the same day. Good thing DH will be able to go! The one good thing is that we got the teachers that we wanted.

We still don't know who Caitlyn has and school starts next week.

 

Congrats on getting the teachers you wanted. I thought it was great last year when the boys came off the bus and spoke about their day. It also gave them the opportunity to have time away from each other, which I found to be HUGE! I hope you will find it as successful as I have to have them in different classes.

 

Maybe things happen for a reason but could you call? My children were put together when I didn't want them to be and all it took was a phone call, they called me back the next day with the new teacher assignments ( I don't have a DH but it worked out fine).

 

We have already sent the principal a written request and I have also talked to him on the phone. This was done before school was done in the spring. If we wanted to pursue it, it would have to be with the board of education.

 

I'm lucky I wanted my girls together and got it. I'm sure your girls will have a great year. Many twins do excellent in different classes!!! The moms on here who had twins in different classes say it was great! HUGS to you!!
