    Hi there:

I actually already have 1 year old twins, but I'm expecting my third and was wondering if any of you have gotten the word from your docs as to whether or not self tanner is safe to use during pregnancy. I have a call in to my doc, but they don't always seem to be up on the latest info.

Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone!! Twins are amazing!

Personally that isnt a chance I would take just for a tan

I've read that it's ok, since it's superficial and doesn't get absorbed into your skin, just the top layer. I plan on using it.

I read the same thing when I was pregnant.

Yeah my doc said it isn't a big deal, and she said she'd rather have me tan that way than try getting a tan in a tanning bed where there's a chance for skin damage.
