they will be fine! I promise. just make sure you cut it up into small bites. My 10 month olds ate at BD mongolian grill the other night and had their first real taste of spice becasuse momma accidently gave them bites off my plate that had garlic, black pepper, and a couple of sauces and LOVED it. don't go whole hog at first, we started simple, sweet potatoes with cinnamin. Also you want them to learn to love the taste of the food first then the spices just enhance that flavor.

Babies in other parts of the world eat spicy food from the instant they have solid food. It's just here that we're told to feed them super bland and boring foods. So don't worry! Put as much spice as you want in the food (well, maybe not tons of cayenne pepper). Go easy on the salt, though. Not good for babies... or adults!

We have never spared the spice. I don't cook with any salt at all usually. My girls eat a wide variety of seasoning now and I think that's due to early exposer

Oh my babies love tasty food. They don't like food with no taste at all. When I cook, I add all the seasonings but leave out the spicy lol. However my son loves spicy food. He wants my soup all the time lol. It's ok to feed them baby food though. They will stop when they are ready. You should introduce some finger foods though. Eventually they will eat enough and stop baby food.

They will choke and cough and puke. But it's totally ok and normal. They will work it out. Just set a cup of water or milk ready. And don't leave them alone when they eat. They will be fine. Good luck!
