my DD likes to scream, but she's not screaming because she's frustrated or mad it seems like she's testing out her vocals. She'll do this high pitch scream then pause for 15 seconds, do it again. She'll do this for like 20 min then tire herself out :D My DS will look at her like "shut up"

Have you gone through this stage with your babies.

I Was just about to post about this!!!
My two make more NOiSE than I thought babies were capable of. DS is just as big an offender as DD. She squeals all the time and he does this loud, yelling, running commentary of gabble. NO PEACE. My twins are about a week older than yours so I guess this is a stage. I hope it's a short one. lol.
Sometimes I put music on to drown them out a bit.

My girls LOVE to scream!! I swear they take turns. And they do it when I cant get away from them, like during a meal so I stuck sitting 2ft in front of them feeding them. I usually laugh for the first 3-5mins because their faces are hilarious but then its gets old.

Yes, we're going through this as well! One DD is definitely the more vocal one and can be very LOUD. I was sweating bullets in church on Sunday hoping that she wouldn't start her one man show again. This morning she woke up at 6:00 AM (about an hour earlier than usual and hour way too early for me) and was shrieking at the top of her little lungs. DH and I laughed for about the first 5 minutes and then we realized she wasn't going back to sleep. This must definitely be a phase as it seems that our kids are all around the same age.

Mine do the same thing. My DD screams so much that she gets too hoarse. My DS does these high
pitched shrieks (of joy I'm sure). I'm glad it seems to be a stage at our babies age, and that it's not just mine!! :) Ours tend to do it most when you're trying to talk on the phone... They just want some more attention!

Have you recorded them yet for posterity?!

My girls love to scream as loudly as they can. That's how they like to wake up in the morning. We call them "happy screams". It's so cute!

Well YES. In fact, I took him to Urgent Care yesterday because I thought either it was do that or jump out the window. Gabe has been YELLING for 3 days STRAIGHT. And I do mean Y-E-L-L-I-N-G!!

He's 7 mos, 6 adjusted so he's older than a lot of yours are but WHOAH NELLIE. I thought either ear infection, or something serious.. but NOPE.. Just a yeller.

I cannot even hear the tv when he's doing it or anyone who's trying to talk to me and my DH is VERY LOUD himself-- (Sicilian LOUD, if you know what I mean.) I cannot even hear HIM w/ the racket.

Anywhoo.. I really don't care for it and I hope it passes very soon. His brother is like "What the heck!!"

heehee, I can so relate! I've got one yeller and one growler. It's pretty funny. They just go on and on! Soon they will be jabbering their heads off with real words like "why Mommy" lol.
