The girls' classes have a policy where parents sign up for 2 weeks a year to provide snacks for the whole class. Each snack week has a theme or letter to build it into the learning curriculum. Our first week is the week after next for Ana's class... And the letter is I ( the theme is Halloween). The policy is no sweets (snack is at 10am), nut-free. Sooooo? What kind of snacks can incorporate I? So far I have pretzel sticks and Cheerios (to make i's), fruit chips (it has the letter I in it), and pirate booty (ahrrr pirates for Halloween). Help a momma out! Thanks!

Ice Cream - my personal favorite but maybe not do-able.
Ice Pops - also maybe tricky/ also sweet :(
Igloos - love this idea.. not very Halloweenish
They all maybe to intense for what you had in mind.

I like the pretzel and Cheerio idea!

wow - you didn't get an easy week!

    :D

I like the idea of making i's - you could also use a fruit kabob and a piece of cheese, or a cheese stick and a few crackers.

What about making an eyeballs out of hard boiled eggs, or maybe slices of bananas and raisins?

    eta: you could do this

You could substitute something else for the chocolate chip Mummy Dogs

How about little kebabs? They look like 'i' and you could put whatever you want on them...

Insects on a log...raisins or craisins on celery sticks. Instead of the traditional peanut butter, you could do a nut free butter like the one made from sunflower seeds or use a spreadable cheese. My kiddos would eat it with cream cheese too.
