OK, we are working very very very hard on getting this schedule thing down. And by 'we' I mean ME. The girls got up at 8:30, together. Took bottles at 9:00, together. Went down for a nap at 10:15, together. It's now 11:15 and Aurora is awake, lying in her crib and BK is asleep. Aurora fussed, but I went in, repositioned her and she quieted down. She is DEFINITELY wide awake.

    Do I...
let her lay there quietly until....when???
    get them both up now?

I say get them both up now. I'm no expert, but mine have been STTN for about a month now...

At that age I tried to keep them in synch as much as possible and that usually meant waking the second baby up within 20 minutes of the first baby waking.

yep mine are on an awesome schedule together and had to get up the 2nd one a lot when the other one woke up, had about a 10-20 minute window on that.....

Mine are on the same schedule and as we speak Trent is in the crib awake and Colten is sleeping. Nap time is until 1:30 so I leave him in there until then.

In the middle of the night we used to get them up at the same time to feed them (stopped feeding them at 4.5 months), but other than that when one was fussing we left them in their crib and they either went back to sleep or played until they were able to get up at the scheduled time. That actually ended up working out great since now my little talker, non-sleeper is content just to be in her crib and naptime is sometimes just rest time instead of sleep time for her but she is still on a schedule and doesn't fuss, which was the goal. We have had to adjust along the way but their morning nap is only about an hour long - the one that is strictly enforce is their 2 hour minimum nap in the afternoon. After two hours I will let the one that is awake (if there is one) get up and play to let the sleeper get an even longer nap. HTH!

I usually let the one that is awake stay in there for 10min or so to see if the other one will wake up. If they don't I will wake them with in 20-30 min of each other usually by turning down the noice machine and opening the doors and making noise, that way they kind of wake on their own. . At night I always fed them together too.

At this age I did the same thing...however now that they are older I let one sleep longer than the other. We have set nap times now -- between 9 - 10am and then between 2 - 3pm. So even if one is tired before the other i will put one down for a nap and spend some one on one time with the other twin and within 15 minutes they are usually ready to go down as well. OR, I just keep one up longer and put them down at the same time together.

When one wakes up I almost always wake the other. That way they go down for their naps at the same time. I need that little quiet time to myself during the day for my sanity. Otherwise there'd be a baby up at all times!
