scheduling a c-section

Quick question...are there many c-sections scheduled on weekends?? I am going to the dr. Thursday and will schedule my c-section that day. I was told that it would be scheduled sometime around37-38 weeks. Well my mom is taking my sister to cancun during my 37th week, which is July 10-17th. They are leaving for vacation on July 13th and won't be back until the 18th. I will take whatever day the doctor can schedule it, but was hoping for maybe saturday or sunday the 11th or 12th.

 

I don't think that OB will schedule the c-section on weekend ( only if he has nothing to do )
My c-section is sceduled for Tuesday in a week. and my OB gave me 2 days Monday 29 or Tuesday 30 .

My OB didn't give me the choice of a weekend date... just Monday thru Friday. :hug: But you never know, maybe if you explain your situation to your doctor he might be feeling very nice and do it for you? :angel:

My hospital is pretty large and they schedule c-sections 7 days a week, just a lot less on weekends.
