Hi everyone! please forgive me in advance because I do not know all the "slang" in these forums juist yet haha. I need a glossary! Anywho. My fraternal (boy and girl) twins are 5 months old. We started them on rice cereal. at 4 1/2 months. Actually at 4 but they didnt get it so i waited a couple weeks. Anyway, and now we just added a veggie. I was just wondering if you mommas/dads could give me your schedule at this age. I look online but all it is is single babies schedules and it just doesnt work for twins :) So if you could PLEASE give me your typical schedule from wake up to put down! Thank you!!!

i referred to wholesomebabyfood.com for schedules and solids info. they're a great resource, although you can always tweak their suggestions to make it work for you. here is a great menu recommendation for babies 4-8 months old.

that site was my #1 resource during the introduction of solids. good luck! :youcandoit:

Here is a link to a thread from our First Year Handbook with examples of schedules for 5 month olds from some of our own Twinstuff moms.

Congratulations on your babies & :welcome: to Twinstuff!

Mine are 11 months now. At this age when we started solids, we only did the lunch time feeding after a bottle
    wake up 8 oz bottle
    nap
lunch 8 oz bottle and whatever solids they would take-usually about 1 ounce each
    4pm bottle 8 oz
    Bed bottle 8 oz
we kept increasing lunch until they both finished a 4 oz jar and then started adding dinner about 1.5 hrs after the 4 pm bottle. that started small and has continued to increase. When they were splitting a 4 oz jar plus rice cereal (2-3 ounces) at dinner, we added breakfast.
I started breakfast last because they still werent sleeping through the night and am was hard! now things are getting a little easier but life revolves around trying to figure out if these two have eaten enough and trying to get healthy meals in! good luck!
