Saying Hello

    Hi. I'm Clarabeth, I live in Texas, and I'm a sahm who homeschools our four children. I also love to sew when I get a chance. Our children are 10, 8, 4, 18 months and we recently found out we were pregnant for a fifth time. :icon_biggrin: I had my first prenatal appointment and sonogram last Monday and was quite surprised to see not one BUT two little darlings up on the screen. I'm carrying di/di twins (that's the ones with two sacs and two placentas, correct?) and I'm 14 weeks along. We were sure that I was much further along since I've got quite a belly bump already. :laughing:

    Needless to say, since we found out about the twins I've been reading anything and everything I can get my hands on about twins. Out of all the stuff that is out there on the web, I must say I feel quite a home amongst such a knowledgable and supportive group of women. I very much look forward to future friendships. :)

    :sign0016: and congrats on your twins :yahoo: This website has proven to be very useful to me and I am hoping that you will use it as a resource because it has helped me get through my pregnancy as the other twins mommies were able to quell smoe of my fears and answer questions that I had. Looking forward to hearing more about you and your pregnancy. keep us updated!

    I was just like you and was so fascinated by twins and read all the books our library carried on the subject - LOL
    I also went from 4 to 6 (my oldest was 10 when I got pregnant, too :) --
    Anyway, sure excited for your news!

    Nice to meet you!! I can tell you that I get 99.9% of my credible information from these ladies. I check this site before my email and myspace pages. I am adding two to two so I may be contacting you for some helpful hints on how to run a family with 4 kiddo's. Congrats on your twins!!!

    Welcome! We just went from 4 to 6 in May. I also had a di/di, but didn't know until after they were born. What looked like one placenta was actually two fused together. You'll love TS! I do.
