I warmed up a bottle of formula but didn't end up using it. Can I save it for later? or dump it? Thanks!

In the past I've saved unused warmed formula. I only saved until the next feeding, and if it didn't get used them I dumped it.

I only rewarm formula once.....then it is down the drain.

You warmed it but didn't use it at all? If so, definately save it!!! I never reheated leftover milk/formula though

I have reused warmed up milk. If a bottle doesn't get finished I put it back in the fridge and use it the next time. So sometimes they get warmed up twice, but after that, I dump them out. They babies are fine and have had no problems with reusing the milk.

If it was warmed and not used... I always tossed it. Fortunately I RARELY had to warm formula, mine liked it mixed up at room temp. I never premixed it and refridgerated it.

i think you are supposed to toss the formula if you don't use it within an hour of warming it up. i didn't know that at first, and would sometimes let it go longer (like you can with breastmilk), and DD puked a TON!!!!! didn't do that again. I think something about how quicly bacteria can grow. i know it's costly, but i'd rather waste a little formula than risk making the babies sick. IMO.

I have always tossed formula that has already been warmed up. I don't think you can re-heat it.

I always reheat and reuse. But, I do try to plan the bottles so that at the end of a 24 hour period, the bottle goes in teh sink. sometimes we waste a little, but not too much. no problems so far.
