sandboxes?

Do your kids still play frequently in a sandbox? We have one that DH built when we moved into the house a couple years back. I was thinking of having him expand it to accommodate the fact the kids are much bigger now. I'm just wondering how much use we will get out of it.

 

We don't have one at our house, but the girls always end up in the sandbox when the go down to the neighbors house. So I guess and expansion of yours would be worthwile.

 

We didn't set ours up after we moved, but I know the kids still have an attraction to sand. The top thing on their list for Spring Break was going to the beach at Galveston and making sand castles.

My kids love the sand too. My kids would live in it probably, lol. I bought Peyton My Little Sandbox and she plays with it every single day it is warm outside.

 

They still play in the sand box. They love it!

I think it would be worth it.

Mine were almost 4 and about 6.5 last summer and they all loved the sandbox. They needed a bigger one for all of them to fit it in it, but they really do enjoy it. They get filthy though! We def. take more baths in the summer.

 

I hate sandboxes, but the kids love them...even my oldest who is 12! My feeling probably has a lot to do with the free range cats in the neighborhood. If I didn't have to worry about that, I'd go ahead and make it bigger...you've probably got several more years.

 

Thanks ladies! I think I will have DH expand it then. He seems less than thrilled. :laughing:
