Sand and Water Table

I want to get a sand and water table, but am not sure which one to get. If you have one do your kids like it? Are they worth the money, if you do like it which one do you have

 

We have the Naturally Playful Step 2 Sand and Water Table, and we've had it for 1.5 years and the girls play with it every single day. And so do many neighborhood of many ages. I vote YES! Sound investment!

 

I couldn't find a link for mine, but my mom got the kids a Nemo one that came with a little umbrella and my guys LOVE it! It's a must have!

 

We have the Naturally Playful Sand Table, which is designed for just sand only. We use this mostly as a water table though, but in the winter we made it into a sand table (we tried other things in there too, like oatmeal and rice, trains, blocks, etc.). My friend has the table that holds both sand and water. But it was always a mess and it upset Hannah (my little orderly, control freak) when the sand got in the water. So we opted to just buy this table and alternate its contents. I have been happy with that decision.

 

We just got the same one as Marie and my girls love it so far. Yes, they make a terrible mess, but sand is cheap and it's outside so it's fine with us. We just want to find some smocks for them to wear so they aren't soaked and full of sand everytime they play with it.

 

I had a Little Tikes http://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-Endless...e/dp/B000E3YWL6 one and it didn't make it to the second year. I would recommend a Step2 table. This year we went with just a sand table and it is made so much better than the Little Tikes one.

We have the Step 2 Naturally Playful Table with the Umbrella and love it! I think it was $60 or so...

 

We opted for a small sandox and a separate water table to avoid a lot of extra mess. We got a Step 2 water table from KMart for $25. Great price.
