On Wed the 23 I went into premature labor. I did not know at the time I was having contractions, I called my Obgyn and was told they were muscle pains, not contractions and she would see me tomorow, Well by 5:00PM I had 7 Pains in an hour, so I called my hospital and another doc told me to come in and get looked at. I still did not think it was labor and did not want to keep our 4yo put all night so I talked to Andrew and we decided it would be ok to get a friend to take me. So I called up a good friend told her what was going on and off we went. We got to the L&D at 8:00 pm and they finally hooked Samuel and Damien up to the monitors around 9 or so and both boys looked great so we did that for an hour, then we looked to see it I was having Contractions, well SUPRISE I was and after another hour they did an internal exam and I was 3 cm dilates so they started trying to stop the labor with Mag-Sulfate I was still contracting and in less than 20min I was up to 6 Cm.with the bag of waters was bulging.the doctors tried but they did not stop the labor, So at this point we had to call Andrew tell him I was going to C section soon and he had to come on down, I still was thinking the labor was going to be stopped and all would be well. Andrew got there right in time becauste the contractions really started coming and at this point I knew it was time I had to tell the docs I needed to go to the OR now because they are coming, well we go th the OR and we now have 2 very healthy little boys. By c -Section, Samuel James was born @ 11:36 P.M weighing 2 lbs 3 oz. and Damien Michael was born @ 11:37 P.M weighing 3 lbs. 13 oz., although born at 29 weeks both are doing well. They are both on room air and their Jaundice is clearing up nicely. They came off the Photo therapy , Samuel on the 29 and Damien on the 30 and the levels are staying pertty low so neither has had to go to go back on the lights yet. We are looking at at least 5 weeks in the NICU but hopefully most of it will be as Feeders,Growers. Both are doing well with the breast mink I express so so far we are doing really well.. Both boys are packing on the weight, eating well, and growing fast . We can bring clothes in for them and tonight the nurse let us keep them out of their issolettes for a long time it was a great visit we both had a lot of hands on time with both of our little men. Things at home are great too Kohl is doing well and he is looking forward to seeing his brothers tomorrow. On the 31 we got to start kangroo care it was very special for Andrew and I to get to hold them. We are all blessed, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. We may get to have them home by mid July at this rate, I know it may take longer and that is ok too I want them to be strong enough to come home but at this developmental rate it is looking like sooner than later they will be home. For now we just need all the thoughts and prayers we can get

Congratulations on your little boys! They sound like they are doing absolutely wonderfully. Damien was just 2 oz smaller than one of my 35 weekers! :)
