Well, after a couple of weeks of bedrest, two days in the hospital to monitor possibel pre-e symptoms, and a bladder infection, I started leaking fluid in on the morning of Sunday, Nov 11, and Samuel Robert and Zoe Brynn entered the world via c section at 12:07 and 12:08 pm. Sam weighed 4 lbs, 9 oz and was 17 3/4 inches. Zoe weighed 4 lbs even and was 17 inches. Both babies are doing well, and neither needed any oxygen at all! They spent 2 days in the NICU before being moved to the transitonal care nursery. We are awaiting a room in transitional so that we can stay with them. They are doing okay with feedings, but they get tired out soooo fast! That is like the big hurdle before we get to come home. Hopefully the little lightbulb in their heads are starting to go off and they will really begin to eat well! Anyway, just wanted to update to let ya'll know they are here!

Hi there, CONGRATULATIONS on their arrival and their health :) SO wonderful to read such a happy birth story and that Sam and Zoe are doing great! I hope you are feeling well too and get to go home with your babies soon!

I hope this is not an inappropriate time to ask a personal question about your situation, were you given steroid shots at any point? The reason I ask is I had ptl labor last Thursday night/early Friday morning at 31 weeks and once the contractions stopped with terbutaline and no other signs/symptoms of ptl were present, I was sent home. Curious if you had such a successful healthy outcome with your 33 weekers with or without steroid shots.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Best, jillian :)

Congrats on your babies!!! Good timing on posting for me anyway- I have been sitting on the "bubble" for 2 weeks now- told the babies will come anyday. I love hearing good stories about 33 and 34 weekers!

I did not have steroid shots. I had asked my Dr. about it like a week before anything happened, I was just kind of curious about when they consider a steroid shot. Dr. said that after 34 weeks they do not give them. Well, since I went into labor and we didn't have time to get the shot I never got it.
